What would happen if your children couldn’t run when faced with kidnappers and sexual predators? Too often, they only get one chance. That’s why there’s Kid Escape, Giving kids the tools they need to stay safe and smart on the streets—so you both feel more confident.  Few things are more frightening to parents today then the possible abduction of one of their children. Once taken, few children are ever recovered. Those fortunate few who do return home never come back the same child they were before they were abducted.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to live his or her life as safe from the threat of abduction as possible. To achieve this, to better safeguard America's children, every child today must receive the information and skills they need to avoid becoming a victim of abduction. Our goal at Front Range Family Safety is to give family members, be they children, teens or adults, the information necessary to avoid a real-life abduction scenario and return home safely to their families should such a tragic event occur.

How is KidEscape! different than other safety programs? Many safety and anti-abduction programs rely on skills that must be learned, practiced, and can be easily countered by a would-be abductor, especially if he knows these same techniques. The KidEscape! program relies on a few simple movements, of which every child is already very familiar. It can be practiced EASILY and as a game at home. Odds are, 99% of kids and parents out there have done this game time after time together, and these simple movements are already ingrained into brain and muscle memory.

We will practice and utilize these movements, and pair them with actual situations so that they may be utilized quickly and instinctively in an actual abduction situation. In an abduction situation, most of the time a child only has a split-second to react to prevent the abduction. That is why the key to the KidEscape! program is to use these simple movements that are already ingrained. This is critical to quickly allow an escape from a would-be abductor, and keep our children safe.

Each of these concepts is conveyed in a very kid-friendly manner, easy to understand and explained, and is then practiced in a scenario example. Parents may work with their own children, or trade places to add some variety to the situations. The practice sessions are taught as fun, simple games that may be easily practiced at home after the program is concluded. This reinforces the training received at our seminars, and we highly encourage practicing at home in order to be as prepared as possible.
